Food Grade: Primarily used as an anti-caking agent (leaking agent), moisture retainer, acidity regulator, and nutritional fortifier.
1. Anti-caking agent for powdered foods: Widely used in milk powder, coffee creamer (non-dairy creamer), solid beverage powder, soup mix powder, sugar powder, salt, and baking premixes. Tricalcium phosphate particles are extremely fine and have a microporous structure. When coated on the surface of other food powders, they can block moisture while absorbing trace amounts of ambient moisture, thus preventing the solid powder from absorbing moisture, collapsing, and clumping during its shelf life, maintaining excellent free flowability.
2. Calcium nutritional fortifier: As a dietary calcium source in food and health products. Widely added to high-calcium milk powder, infant formula, breakfast cereals, various nutritional cereals, and pet food to help with the development of bones and teeth in humans and animals.
3. Toothpaste abrasive: In the daily chemical industry, it is a mild abrasive in high-end toothpaste. Because its hardness is close to that of tooth enamel, it effectively removes dirt and plaque from the tooth surface without damaging the enamel.
Industrial Grade:
1. Plastics and Polymer Stabilizers, Flame Retardants: Used as a light and heat stabilizer in the processing of plastics such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polystyrene (PS). Due to its high-temperature resistance, it also provides physical flame retardancy and synergistic effects when plastics are heated.
2. Advanced Ceramics and Specialty Glass Manufacturing: Used in the manufacture of opaque milky white glass, bone china (specialty ceramics), etc. It imparts a unique delicate texture, high whiteness, and good light transmittance to porcelain during high-temperature sintering.

Mineral Supplements: Tricalcium phosphate is an extremely common, inexpensive, and highly effective phosphorus and calcium supplement in livestock, poultry, and aquatic feeds. It can significantly promote bone growth in livestock such as chickens, ducks, pigs, and cattle, increase egg production and eggshell hardness in laying hens, and prevent rickets and osteomalacia in livestock and poultry.
