Food Grade: Roles as an acidity regulator, emulsifying stabilizer, and moisture retainer.
1. Anti-coagulation agent in dairy products and premium beverages: Used in formulated milk, evaporated milk, premium dairy beverages, and plant-based protein beverages (such as coconut milk and soy milk). It adjusts the pH of the emulsion, stabilizes casein in milk, and prevents protein from coagulating, separating, or precipitating during ultra-high temperature (UHT) sterilization or long shelf life.
2. High-quality acidic leavening agent in the baking industry: As an acidic ingredient in cakes, pastries, cookies, and baking mixes, it reacts slowly and steadily with sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) during heating, uniformly releasing carbon dioxide gas, resulting in a uniform texture, fluffy consistency, and excellent taste in baked goods.
3. Compound water-retaining agent for meat and seafood: Blended in compound water-retaining agents for the processing of ham, sausages, and frozen seafood (shrimp, fish paste), it improves the water-holding capacity of meat and reduces moisture loss during processing and thawing.
Industrial Grade:
1. Scale and Corrosion Inhibition in Medium and Low Pressure Boiler Water Circulation: Injected into the circulating water of industrial boilers or central air conditioning systems as an acidic regulator. It reacts with calcium and magnesium hardness ions in the water to form fluid sludge, which is discharged with regular blowdowns, preventing the formation of hard scale. Simultaneously, phosphate ions induce the formation of a dense iron-phosphate passivation film on the inner wall of pipes, isolating dissolved oxygen to prevent metal perforation corrosion.
2. Metal Degreasing and Cleaning and Electroplating Pretreatment: Used in the formulation of metal surface cleaning agents. It not only removes and cleans trace amounts of rust and dirt from metal surfaces but also provides short-term rust protection for workpiece surfaces and enhances the adhesion of subsequent coatings.
