Food Grade: Iron Fortification Agent.

1. Infant Formula and Rice Cereal: Ferrous pyrophosphate is pure white or slightly yellow. Adding it to milk powder or infant rice cereal will not cause the powder to turn black or develop spots, and it has almost no metallic taste, making it acceptable to babies.
