Calcium phosphate dibasic dihydrate CAS7789-77-7
Daily Chemical Grade: Core Abrasive.
1. Gentle Stain Removal and Cleaning: DCPD's crystal hardness is moderate, effectively removing food debris, tobacco stains, and plaque from tooth surfaces without scratching or abrading fragile tooth enamel.
2. Fluoride Stabilizer: Compared to abrasives like calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate dihydrate has excellent compatibility with active fluoride in toothpaste (such as sodium fluoride), preventing fluoride degradation and ensuring the toothpaste's anti-caries effect.
3. Improves Paste Gloss: It gives toothpaste a very smooth, white, and glossy appearance while maintaining a good extrusion feel.
Food Grade: Leavening Agent, Dough Conditioner, Nutritional Fortifier, and Moisture Retainer.
1. Baking and Dough Products: As an acidic fermentation buffer in baked goods (such as bread and biscuits), when used in conjunction with baking soda, it can control the fermentation rate, resulting in a more uniform texture and a softer mouthfeel in the finished product.
2. Infant and Toddler Foods & Breakfast Cereals: Used to fortify the calcium and phosphorus content in biscuits, milk powder, and oatmeal. Because it is insoluble in water, it does not affect the color or shelf life of the food.
3. Cheese and Dairy Products: Used as a solidifying agent and calcium source in cheese processing, improving the gel strength of cheese.
Feed Grade:
1. Livestock and Poultry Compound Feeds (Pigs, Chickens, Cattle, etc.): Phosphorus and calcium are fundamental for animal bone and eggshell development. The calcium-to-phosphorus ratio in DCPD (approximately 1.3:1) is very close to the natural ratio of animal bones, and the phosphorus in it is high in biological value and readily absorbed by the intestines of poultry and livestock, significantly preventing osteomalacia in chicks, rickets in pigs, and decreased egg production.
2. Aquatic and Pet Feeds: Increases bone density in fish, shrimp, cats, and dogs, promoting the growth and development of young animals.
