| Calcium dihydrogen phosphate, also known as monocalcium phosphate, has the chemical formula Ca(H2PO4)2·H2O. White monoclinic crystalline powder, odorless and tasteless, soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and acetic acid, slightly soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. Relative density: 2.32. Stable in the air. It begins to lose water at 75℃ to form anhydrous calcium hydrogen phosphate. At 30℃, 1.8g of calcium dihydrogen phosphate is soluble in 100ml of water. The aqueous solution is acidic, and when heated, it hydrolyzes into calcium hydrogen orthophosphate. It loses its crystalline water at 109℃ and decomposes into metaphosphate at 203℃. | |||||||||
