| Pine oil has a fragrance similar to pine wood and cloves. The appearance is a viscous liquid, but prone to crystallization, with a boiling point of 218-219 ℃, 85 ℃/400Pa, and a melting point of 35 ℃ (α - terpineol). It is mainly used in preparing scented soap and cosmetics essence such as lilac, lily of the valley, acacia, orange blossom, etc. Pure α - terpineol can also be used to prepare lemon, orange, peach and other edible essence.
