Daily Chemical Grade:
1. Daily Chemical Detergents and Personal Care: A highly cost-effective inorganic detergent builder (building agent).
2. "Stone Removal and Anti-scaling Agent" in High-End Toothpaste: Widely added to tartar removers and whitening toothpastes. It also gently emulsifies and disperses tobacco and tea stains on the tooth surface.
3. Solid Powder Detergents and Soap Modification: Used in the formulation of heavy-duty laundry detergents, industrial detergents, and synthetic soaps. During washing, it effectively softens hard water, effectively locking in calcium and magnesium ions to prevent secondary deposition of dirt on fabrics after combining with hard water. Industrial Grade:
1. Pulp Bleaching and Color Stabilizer: In the paper industry, when hydrogen peroxide is used to bleach pulp, trace amounts of heavy metal ions such as iron and manganese in the pulp can catalyze the ineffective decomposition of hydrogen peroxide, leading to yellowing of the paper later. Adding sodium pyrophosphate decahydrate can chelate these harmful metals, protecting the bleaching agent and significantly increasing the whiteness of the paper.
2. Printing and Dyeing and Cotton Scouring Auxiliary Agent: In the textile industry, it is used as an alkaline buffer in printing and dyeing. During cotton scouring, it can remove pectin and wax from cotton fibers, resulting in more even dye application and brighter colors.
3. Clay dispersion and solvent: In the preparation of building ceramic slurries or drilling mud, it is an excellent dispersant (diluent), significantly reducing slurry viscosity and improving fluidity.
