Propyl acetate CAS 109-60-4

Propyl acetate is also known as acetic acid propyl ester, acetic acid primary propyl ester, or ethyl acetate. It is a colorless and clear liquid with a mild fruity aroma. It is naturally present in strawberries, bananas, and tomatoes. It is soluble in alcohols, ketones, esters, oils and most other organic solvents, and slightly soluble in water. Propyl acetate has two isomers, namely ethyl acetate primary and ethyl acetate isopropyl. Both are colorless and flowable transparent liquids. They both have a fruity-like aroma and are found in nature.
