POTASSIUM FERRICYANIDE CAS 13746-66-2

Potassium ferricyanide, also known as hematite salt, is a compound with the chemical formula K3[Fe(CN)6]. This bright red salt contains octahedral coordinated [Fe(CN)6]3− ions. It is highly soluble in water and the solution exhibits a yellow-green fluorescence. It was discovered by Leopold Gmelin in 1822.
