1. Active Filter Aid For Edible Oil And Frying Oil: Food grade synthetic magnesium silicate adsorbs colour bodies, free fatty acids and other polar compounds from used frying oil, helping processors extend oil service life and cut waste; the same adsorbent grade is used to purify biodiesel by taking out free glycerin, soaps, methanol, monoglycerides.
2. Refining Adsorbent For Polyols And Syrups: Built on a large active surface and amphoteric character, this synthetic magnesium silicate works as a refining and purifying agent in polyether polyol production, helping reduce colour and odour and absorb potassium ions left from catalyst residues, and it also serves as a filter medium in resin, sugar and syrup clarification.
3. Cleanup Adsorbent For Residue Testing: Micronised magnesium silicate acts as a polar adsorbent for column and cartridge cleanup of environmental and food extracts, separating target analytes from interfering compounds ahead of GC or LC determination.
4. Reinforcing Filler And Extender Pigment: Synthetic magnesium silicate is used as a reinforcing filler in non-staining and coloured rubber and silicone compounds, and as a filler and pigment extender in dispersive paints, plastics, adhesives and paper, where fine porous particles support opacity, printability and matting while lowering formulation cost.

Anti-Caking Agent And Carrier Powder: Magnesium silicate keeps table salt, powdered drink mixes and other dry blends free flowing by holding moisture and separating particles, and serves as a carrier for flavours, fragrances and vitamin or mineral premixes; in solid dosage manufacture it is used as a glidant that improves powder flow during tablet compression.
