It is used as emulsifier, solubilizer, opacifier and defoamer in the production of cream cosmetics and liquid detergent shampoo in the daily chemical industry, as fabric finishing agent in the textile industry, and as pigment grinding additive. It can be used as defoamer, with viscosity reduction and foam inhibition.
