Diol distearate is an important additive in the cosmetics industry, used as a pearlescent agent, conditioning agent, and thickening agent in shampoo, bath gel, and other cleansing products. It is synthesized through the esterification of ethylene glycol with stearic acid. The traditional synthesis process involves high reaction temperatures, typically ranging from 150°C to 210°C. To remove moisture generated during the reaction, measures such as nitrogen purging, vacuum distillation, or azeotropic dehydration are required. Due to the high reaction temperature, the product undergoes severe carbonization, resulting in a dark color, necessitating additional decolorization processes.
Higher main content and lower impurity levels; batch-to-batch stability; better solubility, particle size, and flowability, facilitating downstream processes.
Quality system advantages:
Certification list - ISO 9001, REACH registration number, FDA, Kosher, Halal; each batch comes with a COA, supporting third-party testing (SGS, etc.); full traceability.
Supply chain advantages:
Own factory/integrated production; annual production capacity is at full capacity, with plans to expand production; some stock is available for immediate delivery; delivery time is clear.
