| Calcium glycerophosphate is a white crystalline powder. Odorless, almost odorless, slightly bitter, and hygroscopic. At 130 ℃, it loses crystalline water to form nothingness, and decomposes above 170 ℃. Dissolve each gram in approximately 50mL of water at 25 ℃. At lower temperatures, it is more soluble in water, and the aqueous solution is alkaline. Citric acid or lactic acid can increase its solubility in water. Almost insoluble in boiling water. Insoluble in ethanol. | |||||||||
