Food grade:
1. Preservation and color protection of high-end foods: widely used in fruits, preserves, and canned foods. It can gradually free up trace amounts of formic acid, destroy the cell membrane of mold, play a good role in preventing mildew and preserving freshness, and will not produce odor like some synthetic preservatives.
2. Food calcium fortifier: As an organic calcium source, its solubility and absorption rate are better than traditional calcium carbonate. It is often used in high-end calcium-fortified beverages, functional formula foods for pregnant women and the elderly, to efficiently supplement trace element calcium for the human body.
Feed grade:
1. High-end acidifier for weaned piglets: Due to insufficient secretion of gastric acid in weaned piglets, it is very easy for the intestinal pH value to increase, causing Escherichia coli to breed and cause severe diarrhea. Feed grade calcium formate will release free formic acid in the gastrointestinal tract of piglets, lowering the pH value in the stomach, activating digestive enzymes, and killing harmful bacteria. It also provides up to 30.5% highly absorbable organic calcium. Compared with citric acid, it does not absorb moisture and agglomerate in the feed, and has excellent processing performance.
2. Full-price compound feed for poultry and livestock: added to the feed for laying hens, beef cattle, and sows. Adding it to the feed of laying hens can significantly improve the quality and hardness of eggshells and reducing the egg breaking rate; adding it to the feed of sows can prevent postpartum paralysis and promote the development of piglets.
3. Mildew-proof and fresh-keeping of green fodder: As a mildew-proof agent for silage, it inhibits the reproduction of mold and spoilage bacteria and locks in the nutrition of the feed.
Industrial grade/construction grade:
1. Early strength agent for building mortar (cement accelerator): In the modern construction industry, industrial-grade calcium formate is an indispensable super early strength agent in high-performance commercial mortars, ceramic tile adhesives, quick-drying cement, wear-resistant floors and other building materials. Especially during low-temperature construction in winter, it can significantly accelerate the hydration rate of tricalcium silicate (the core component of cement), allowing concrete and mortar to reach demoulding strength in a very short time, effectively preventing freezing damage and shortening the construction period.
2. Leather industry (tanning auxiliary): Used as a masking agent in the leather chrome tanning process, it can make chromium ions penetrate into the leather tissue more evenly, improving the flexibility and dyeing uniformity of the leather.
3. Wear-resistant materials and flue gas desulfurization: used to manufacture high-performance wear-resistant floors; or used as a catalytic auxiliary for flue gas desulfurization in the field of environmental protection to improve desulfurization efficiency.
