| Boron containing additives have become a research hotspot in environmentally friendly lubricating additives in recent years due to their excellent anti-wear, anti-oxidation, and thermal stability. Isobutyl boronic acid has good oil solubility, oxidation resistance, low irritation, and excellent tribological properties, but its dispersibility is poor and cannot be stably dispersed in base oil. Moreover, due to the electron deficiency of boron, it is susceptible to attack and hydrolysis by water molecules containing lone pair electrons, producing boric acid that is insoluble in the base oil, which greatly limits the application of organic boronic acid ester additives. | |||||||||
