Centella asiatica (L) Urban, a plant in the Umbelliferae family, is a dry whole plant or rooted whole plant. Asiaticoside belongs to the pentacyclic triterpenoid class of compounds, which have various pharmacological effects such as anti ulcer, promoting wound healing, anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, and immune regulation. At present, it is mainly used to treat scleroderma and skin wounds and burns.
