Halogen-Free Flame Retardant For Plastics: Ammonium polyphosphate (APP, CAS 68333-79-9) is a phosphorus-nitrogen intumescent flame retardant widely used in PP, PE, PU, epoxy and rubber compounds, promoting an insulating char layer that reduces heat release and smoke during combustion without halogens.
