Food Grade:
1. Wine and Fruit Wine: Adding this before bottling is crucial, as it completely "locks in" residual yeast, preventing secondary fermentation in the bottle that could lead to bottle explosion or cloudiness.
2. Baking and Pastry Products: Bread, cakes, mooncakes, and pastry fillings (such as red bean paste and lotus seed paste). It effectively prevents mold growth on the surface of high-moisture baked goods during their shelf life.
3. Condiments and Pickles: Soy sauce, vinegar, oyster sauce, salad dressing, compound seasoning sauces, pickles, and preserved vegetables. Due to its effectiveness against molds that easily cause sauce spoilage, it effectively prevents the formation of a white film on the surface.
4. Fruit Products and Preserved Fruits: Jams, jellies, dried fruits, preserved fruits, and dehydrated vegetables.
5. Meat and Seafood Products: Cooked meat products (such as sausages and ham), surimi products (fish balls), dried meat, and some canned seafood. 6. Dairy Products: Processed cheese (cheese slices), cheese products, and cheese spreads (does not affect lactic acid bacteria fermentation, but can prevent mold).
Feed Grade:
1. Pet Food and Treats: Dog food, cat food (especially semi-fresh and soft pet food), and dried meat pet treats. Potassium sorbate can effectively prevent pet food from molding and avoid aflatoxin poisoning.
2. Livestock Feed: Mold prevention and preservation of livestock and poultry feed and aquatic feed, extending the storage time of feed in warehouses and feed troughs.
