1.Halogen Free Flame Retardancy For Polyamide: Melamine polyphosphate (CAS 218768-84-4) is a melamine based halogen free flame retardant developed for glass fibre reinforced polyamide, including PA6 and PA66 compounds.
2.Polyester And PBT Compounds: The additive is also applied in polyester systems such as PBT, where it brings halogen free flame retardancy into engineering compounds that are processed by standard thermoplastic routes.
3.Injection And Extrusion Processing: MPP is designed to run in injection moulding and extrusion processes, so compounders can build flame retardancy into the resin without changing the basic way it is processed.
4.Polyurethane And Fibre Applications: Coverage also extends to polyurethane systems and fibre fabric applications, carrying the melamine and phosphorus flame retardant chemistry beyond engineering plastics.
5.Nitrogen Synergist In Flame Retardant Systems: The melamine part supplies nitrogen, so MPP works as a nitrogen synergist together with phosphorus based retardants such as metal phosphinates in halogen free flame retardant systems.
