1.Water Soluble Adhesive And Binder：Dextrin (CAS 9004-53-9) is a starch derived polysaccharide that dissolves readily in water and develops tack as it dries, making it a base for paper, label, envelope and board adhesives and a general purpose binder in industrial formulations.
2.Textile Sizing And Printing Thickener：Applied as a sizing and finishing agent, dextrin adds weight and stiffness to woven fabrics and thickens dye pastes for fabric printing, helping colours stay in place and giving textiles a firmer and cleaner hand.
3.Foundry Sand Core Binder：Yellow dextrin grades work as a sand core and mould additive in metal casting, improving grain adhesion and dry strength of cores and coatings for cleaner casting surfaces and more consistent mould performance.
4.Paper Sizing, Coating And Printing Inks：Used in paper and board production as a sizing and coating binder and in ink and glue formulations, dextrin helps control viscosity and film formation so coatings and prints sit evenly on the substrate.
5.Food Grade Applications：Grades made for regulated use serve as a thickener and stabiliser in food systems.
