Didecyl Phthalate is a primary plasticizer for vinyl resins and also shown to be compatible with polystyrene and cellulosics.
It can be used as a plasticizer for vinyl resins and cellulose resins.
It is also used as a stationary liquid for gas chromatography, with a maximum use temperature of 150 °C, and the solvent is acetone, chloroform or methanol.
