1.Halogen Free Flame Retardancy For Engineering Plastics: Bisphenol A bis(diphenyl phosphate) (CAS 5945-33-5) is a halogen free aromatic phosphate flame retardant used in blends of engineering plastics such as PPO/HIPS and PC/ABS systems.
2.Housing And Electronic Consumer Products: It is applied in television and flat screen housings and in other electronic consumer products, giving those applications a halogen free phosphate ester option.
3.Wire And Cable And Electrical Materials: The flame retardant is also used in electrical wire covering and in other flame resistant materials that are processed into electrical parts.
4.PVC, PS And PP Polymer Systems: Beyond engineering blends it is applied in PVC, polystyrene and polypropylene systems as well, extending the aromatic phosphate route into other polymer families.
5.Flame Retardancy For Normally Flammable Resins: Dosed in during compounding, the additive brings flame retardancy to resins that are normally flammable on their own and would otherwise need a different chemistry.
