Textile and Dyeing Decolorization and Deliming: In the textile and dyeing industry, ammonium sulfate is often used as a dye auxiliary or weight-reducing agent in fabric dyeing; in leather processing, it is used as a leather deliming agent, gently neutralizing alkaline residues in leather and making its texture softer.

2. Rare Earth Mining (Heap Leaching Agent): In the mining of ion-adsorption rare earth deposits in southern my country, ammonium sulfate was once widely used as a leaching agent. The ammonium ions in the ore replace the rare earth elements adsorbed in the raw ore, achieving efficient enrichment of rare earth elements.
