1.Coating And Resin Solvency： 1-Methoxy-2-propanol (CAS 107-98-2) is a medium boiling glycol ether that dissolves acrylic, alkyd, epoxy, phenolic, nitrocellulose and cellulose acetate butyrate resins, making it a working solvent for paints, lacquers and varnishes.
2.Printing And Writing Ink Carrier： Used as a carrier solvent in printing and writing inks and as a diluent in printing and dyeing operations, it carries resins, pigments and additives into a flowable ink and then leaves as part of the drying step.
3.Cleaning And Electronics Care： Applied in glass cleaners, electronics cleaning and general industrial cleaning products, its water solubility and solvency lift oils, resins and process residue from hard surfaces and precision parts.
4.Agrochemical Formulation Solvent： The glycol ether serves as a solvent and diluent in agricultural chemical production and pesticide formulations, giving formulators a medium boiling carrier for active ingredients and adjuvants.
5.Antifreeze And Functional Fluids： The same glycol ether acts as an antifreeze agent, including in diesel engine applications, and it also works as an extractant and diluent in industrial fluid and chemical processing systems.
