Hinokitiol, also known as cypress phenol, is a natural compound of monoterpenoids with a tropolone skeleton extracted by Japanese scientist Anderson from the trunk of Taiwan cypress in 1948. It belongs to the tropolone family of compounds and has good antibacterial, moisturizing and pest repellent effects. It is a highly safe plant ingredient and can be used as an antibacterial and insect repellent. It is the main component of Taiwan cypress essential oil. It has a wide range of biological activities and strong bactericidal ability. The minimum inhibitory concentration for general bacteria is 10-100ppm. It has a fragrant smell and good effects. It can kill bacteria and microorganisms in the air and prevent pests from invading the human body. It has been used in the production of shower gels, cosmetics, medicines and other products.
Higher main content and lower impurity levels; batch-to-batch stability; better solubility, particle size, and flowability, facilitating downstream processes.
