Tricalcium phosphate (TCP) is a compound with calcium phosphate as the main component, with the chemical formula of Ca₃(PO₄)₂, which is widely used in the fields of food, medicine and materials.
Basic properties Tricalcium phosphate is a white crystal or amorphous powder, which is insoluble in water and soluble in dilute acid. Its melting point is 1670℃ and it is stable in air. As a food additive, it mainly plays the role of anti-caking, buffering pH value, and retaining moisture. It is commonly used in the processing of flour, milk powder, candy, etc.
Medical application As a bioceramic material, tricalcium phosphate is highly matched with the inorganic components of human bone tissue (accounting for 65%). After implantation, it can form a chemical bond with the host bone through the formation of a hydroxyapatite layer on the surface to achieve a bone repair effect. It is mainly used for the repair of non-load-bearing bone defects (such as alveolar ridge augmentation, ear ossicle replacement, etc.), and can be used as a drug sustained-release carrier
Higher main content and lower impurity levels; batch-to-batch stability; better solubility, particle size, and flowability, facilitating downstream processes.
Quality system advantages:
Certification list - ISO 9001, REACH registration number, FDA, Kosher, Halal; each batch comes with a COA, supporting third-party testing (SGS, etc.); full traceability.
Supply chain advantages:
Own factory/integrated production; annual production capacity is at full capacity, with plans to expand production; some stock is available for immediate delivery; delivery time is clear.
