Peroxides can be formed under the action of oxygen in the air. It is miscible with acetone, ethanol, 1, 2-dichloroethane, ethyl acetate, toluene, ether, heptane, castor oil, turpentine, isopropyl ether, etc. It is used as a dispersant and also for extracting fatty acids from dilute fatty acid solutions, the separation and refinement of alkyl phosphoric acid, and as an inert solvent in uranium ore extraction, etc. | |||||||||
