| 1,2-Dichloropropane is mainly used in paints and inks. It is used to prepare paints, inks, solvents and PVC adhesives. It is an excellent organic solvent and can replace the uses of xylene and other benzene-based substances for making aniline-free banana water, polyurethane diluents, etc. It can be mixed with organic solvents such as benzene, ketones, and esters. As a by-product of the chlorohydrin process for producing PO, it is the main raw material for the production of thinner and is used as a paint diluent. It is low in toxicity and environmentally friendly, replacing xylene. | |||||||||
